Colophon

About this site

This site came to life with the invaluable help of Leander and Linus.

CMS

The site is built on Kirby, a file-based CMS I chose for its effortless flexibility and light footprint. Also because Linus strongly recommended it. Once you are in, it's simple and manageable. All I need.

Domain & Hosting

Both the domain and hosting are by Mr. Domain. It's a local company, with a user-friendly platform and an attentive support team. It just works. I just wish they offered green hosting too.

Typeface

I use Untitled Sans from Klim Type Foundry. There’s a subtle warmth in its simplicity, making it feel both modern and timeless. I dig its aesthetics, as well as its philosophical inspiration.

Colour

The accent colour on the site is a subtle, but deeply meaningful, tribute to Dieter Rams. He showed us how just a touch of color could elevate an entire design. Like the perfectly calculated stroke of colour in a radio's dial, this highlight is both functional and aesthetic. A reminder that less is more.

Newsletter

The subscription runs on Resend. It is designed to do the job quietly and efficiently, delivering performance with clarity and simplicity. Nothing else than I need.

Privacy-friendly Analytics

I care about understanding how the site is used, but I also about privacy, so Pirsch was a no brainer. It offers the perfect balance: useful insights without overstepping boundaries. Hosted in Europe, cookie-free, and fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. It's clean, minimal, and respectful.

No cookies

This site does not use cookies. No tracking and no unnecessary clutter. Just a straightforward —and hopefully joyful— experience. As the web should be.
